The Great Washago River Fest
Saturday June 23, 2007
We
are pleased to report to the members of OMCRA that our web site
for the Great Washago River Fest is up and running.
Washagorotary.ca
Please feel free to go to the above site and follow the link to
our River Fest. We have lots of sponsors coming on board and our
Rotary Club is excited about hosting this new and hopefully annual
event. The Washago river system (Green River/Severn River) is one
of the most picturesque in Ontario. We have a map of the 20km C-2
race on the web site. We are developing some great ideas to make
our Centennial Park on Lake Couchiching a great place for people
to meet and greet and this is where the C-2 race concludes.
Also, please note that there will be plenty of campsites available
at the Black River Wilderness Park, which is a fantastic campground
on the most exciting part of The Black River which also flows into
Washago.

The Black River Wilderness Park is about 5 minutes from downtown
Washago. You can view information about Washago either on our Rotary
Club web site or at www.washago.ca.
For more information about this event and to obtain registration
forms, please contact OMCRA member Murray
Wood
Looking forward to meeting the members of OMCRA at our event.
