Killbear Regatta and Paddlers Rendezvous

Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 9 & 10, 2006

Under the heading of everything old is new again Gord brings you an all new Killbear event. We will still be in Killbear Park but in a new more sheltered location. In addition to the marathon races on Saturday morning there will be a 12 km Outrigger race across open water at 4 pm in the afternoon. This great event is good for racers of all ages.

You can camp right at the start/finish line so no driving. There will be lots of fun for the non-paddlers such as swimming and enjoying the park.

Saturday evening, as always, there is a great trout barbeque. It is a great way to get away for the weekend and start winding down the season.

Start & Registration: Killbear Provincial Park, Registration at 8 am on Sept 9 with races starting at 10 am. The races start at 9 am on Sept 10.

Fees: $10 / person includes the fish barbeque, $5 / bantam or $5 for just fish!!
